04 — Microcement
A mineral skin a few millimetres thick for floors, walls, showers and benchtops. No grout lines. Often no demolition.
What it is
Microcement is a thin cement and polymer coating, usually 2 to 3 mm thick, applied by hand. It gives one seamless, modern surface across floors, walls, showers and benchtops.
It can often go straight over sound existing tiles, so there is less demolition, less mess and a faster job. We lay Rasofix base coats over reinforcing mesh, then the fine finish coats. Sealed properly, it suits showers and wet areas. Showers get a compliant waterproof membrane under the system.

Our process
We read the surface before we quote: moisture, level, movement and light.
Moisture · level · movementGrind, patch, prime and mask. Most of a great finish is preparation nobody sees.

Price depends on area, surface condition, whether we go over tiles or remove them, and the colour and texture. We give a free, fixed quote after a site inspection.
Often, yes, when the tiles are sound and well bonded. We check them first. Showers get a compliant waterproof membrane under the system.
With good sealing and normal care it lasts many years. Busy floors may need a fresh sealer coat every few years.
Use a soft mop or cloth with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid bleach, strong acids and scouring pads.
Most bathrooms take 4 to 6 days, including drying time between coats. We confirm the timeline in your quote.
